Directions to Lake Toxaway NC from Asheville NC: I-26 to exit 40/Highway 280/Airport exit to Brevard. Next follow US Highway 64 to Lake Toxaway. It’s a scenic drive with a few curves between Brevard and Sapphire. Allow 1 hour. Approximately 50 miles.
Directions to Lake Toxaway NC from Knoxville TN: Take I-40 East to route 23/74 W towards Waynesville NC. Take 23/74W to 23/441 towards Dillsboro, Sylva and Franklin. At Sylva stay on the bypass and take U.S. Highway 107 East to Cashiers. At Highway 107 take a left onto Highway 64. Lake Toxaway is approximately 13 miles from Cashiers down Highway 64.
