In 2018, 74 homes sold for $1 million dollars or more, up significantly from the 55 luxury homes sold in 2013. The average sale price luxury home on the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau in 2018 was approximately $1.35 million. In 2018 the most expensive luxury homes in the area sold in excess of $3 million. One large estate sale topped the $8 million mark.
